DRIVING DIRECTIONS: from Port Hastings, at the Canso Causeway, take HWY105, the TransCanada Highway (signed for Cheticamp/Baddeck/Sydney), north for 22.3km. Turn right onto Maple Brook Road, and continue 1.6km. Park off the side of the road where an obvious trail to the right leads down to the falls.

TRAIL DESCRIPTION: a well-used trail, with some steep sections, leads you out onto a bedrock outcropping, with a high cliff overlooking the falls. The smaller upper falls are viewable from this vantage point as well. Follow the trail downstream to the base of the falls. These falls are a popular swimming hole in the summer, as the plunge pool beneath them is quite deep.

Found on the lands granted to John MacEachern in 1866, and prominently featured on Glendale's community sign, these wonderful falls on a tributary of the River Inhabitants are a short hike to a wonderful location.
