This is a very picturesque fall because it actually drops directly in the lake, dropping into Halls Lake Brook Falls Cove. It used to be taller, having a further 10 foot drop below it, but when they filled Panuke Lake (as a reservoir), the height of the fall was reduced. However it is still approximately 30 feet high. One can sit on the large stones next to the falls and wonder what it might have looked like a hundred years ago.
